Grey oyster mushroom is one of the most widely cultivated mushrooms in the world. It is fast-growing, easy to grow and has a mild flavor with a slight aniseed sweetness. It is popular in Asian and vegetarian cooking.

100 mycelium plugs are enough for about 2-3 meters of log with a diameter of 10-20 cm.

Cultivation recommendations:

You start with a fresh hardwood log ( birch, alder, beech or oak) drill small holes and insert a mycelium plug per hole which is then covered with grafting wax. The log is placed in a shady and moist place in the garden, where it is kept moist during the first season. A log can then produce a harvest for several years.
