Black Fungus (Annulohypoxylon sp.)

This fungus from the genus Annulohypoxylon is not cultivated for consumption, but rather serves as a host substrate for other species, most notably Tremella fuciformis (Snow fungus). It functions as a biological partner in a form of parasitic or symbiotic co-culture where Snow fungus requires it to form fruiting bodies. ( We also sell mycelium for this here )

The price includes:

A syringe with liquid mycelium in the selected quantity and a needle

Cultivation data (as host for Snow fungus):

Substrate:
Nutrient-rich sawdust or wood chip blocks, sometimes enriched

Incubation (colonization):
Temperature: 24–28°C
Humidity: 95–100%

Function:
When Snow fungus ( Tremella fuciformis) is inoculated onto colonized Annulohypoxylon , it acts as the necessary biological host for fruiting body formation

Not directly fruiting for consumption
